Osbra has started the serial production of injection moulded parts. The new machine of the manufacturer Krauss-Maffei with a closing force of 1500 tons is laid out for small and medium production runs. It comes with a magnetic clamping device and an automatic robot removal, so that the set-up times can be reduced.

“The step into the injection moulding is a significant milestone for a greater range of our service portfolio for our automotive industry customers .” says Siegfried Richter, managing director of Osbra.

With this machine Osbra is able to produce parts up to a weight of 3 kg. The first projects will include exterior components like wheel widenings, radiator grilles and head lamp covers.
